June 2026 Update from Heartprint Books

Heartprint Books – Summer 2026 Update

There is a saying that books are not written in quiet moments. They are written in the middle of life.

And life has certainly been busy.

As we move into the summer of 2026, we wanted to take a moment to share some of what has been happening behind the scenes at Heartprint Books and within our growing family of authors, storytellers, educators, and creative thinkers.

What We've Been Creating

The past several months have been filled with writing, editing, designing, and helping authors move their ideas from manuscript to published work.

At Heartprint Books, we continue to work with authors who have important stories to tell—stories that preserve family history, inspire growth, encourage creativity, and leave a lasting impact on readers.

Several projects are currently in various stages of development, and we are excited to see many of them move closer to publication throughout 2026.

One of the greatest joys of what we do is watching an idea evolve from a conversation into a finished book that can inspire readers for years to come.

New Books on the Horizon

Pat has been spending much of his time writing and developing a new book that we look forward to sharing more about in the months ahead.

Meanwhile, Martha has been busy working on several creative projects, including two upcoming titles of her own. One is a collection of reflections and writings gathered over years of life, travel, loss, gratitude, and everyday observations. The other is a deeply personal project inspired by family, memory, and the stories that shape who we become.

Also arriving this summer is The Lab Pack Tails, a heartwarming children's adventure inspired by Labrador life, friendship, curiosity, and the unforgettable personalities of Calypso and Captain. The project has been undergoing a complete refresh, including new illustrations, updated storytelling, and exciting enhancements that bring the lovable Lab Pack to life in ways we could only dream about when the original concept was first created.

For those who have followed Calypso's adventures over the years—and for those who have recently met Captain—we think you're going to fall in love with this story.

While Heartprint Books remains home to many of our collaborative publishing efforts, Martha's personal books continue to be released under her own name and through Bucks County Bytes.

As always, there never seems to be a shortage of ideas waiting to become books.

Life Around the Writing Desk

Of course, no update would be complete without mentioning Calypso and Captain, who continue to oversee daily operations from their unofficial positions as Chief Morale Officers.

Their responsibilities include supervising writing sessions, demanding regular walk breaks, monitoring snack quality, and reminding us that sometimes the best ideas arrive when you step away from the keyboard and head outdoors.

They take their jobs very seriously.

Most of the time.

What We've Learned

One lesson continues to show up again and again:

Stories matter.

They connect generations.

They preserve family history.

They help us heal.

They remind us that our experiences, struggles, victories, and lessons may be exactly what someone else needs to hear.

Whether we are helping a first-time author publish a dream, supporting a seasoned writer sharing decades of wisdom, or creating a children's book that sparks imagination, our mission remains the same:

To leave a heartprint.

Looking Ahead

The second half of 2026 promises to be one of our most exciting yet.

New books.

New authors.

New stories.

New opportunities to make a difference.

At Heartprint Books, we believe every person has a story worth preserving and every book has the potential to leave a lasting heartprint on someone's life.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us.

Whether you've read one of our books, worked with us on a project, shared an encouraging word, or simply followed along from afar, we are grateful for your support.

We can't wait to share what comes next.

With gratitude,

Pat Sanaghan & Martha Voorhees
